Harlaxton Manor featured in Country Life magazine

An article featuring the history and restoration of Harlaxton Manor was published today in the British magazine Country Life. The May issue has a focus on the royal wedding and Anglo-American relations, so Harlaxton’s unique status as an American-owned British manor and study abroad site was a fitting addition. The feature was also fitting in Harlaxton’s history, as it was an ad in Country Life in 1969 that originally drew the attention of Dr. Wallace Graves, president of University of Evansville at the time, to the manor. The article chronicles both that story of UE’s role at Harlaxton, as well as the history of Harlaxton.
